| QUALIFYING SPECIFIC RULES |
• Format of play: 18 holes stroke play
• The qualifying round will have up to 84 players. Professional players have priority. Having vacances, amateurs players with lower handicap will be accept
• Eligibility: Brazilian and Foreigners professional players; Amateurs are permitted with HCP Index lower than 3.0
• Players finishing from 13rd position on will be considered alternates
• Ties for the 12nd position will be decided by sudden-death play off
• The Tournament will announce prior to start the Open Qualifying if alternates will be needed. If this is the case, the alternate positions will be decided by score, if ties exist a playoff hole by hole will be conducted to determine the alternate positions right after results are posted.
• PGA Tour Latinoamerica Rules Committee will determine if alternate positions from the Open Qualifying are in effect and the number of those spots.
• Use of caddie will be mandatory
• Brazilian hard card will be used
• Golf carts will not be allowed
• Entry cancellation after September 12th will not be reimbursed

| LOCAL CADDIES |
• If you do need a local caddie, please let to Angelica Giusti – angelica@cbg.com.br as soon as possible because availability is very limited. The cost of using a local caddie is R$ 150,00 (US$ 45.00) Players should pay cash in local currency directly to the caddie. |
| NO METAL SPIKES ALLOWED IN CLUBHOUSE |
• Please note that NO metal spikes will be allowed in the Clubhouse, but rubber spikes will be permitted. |
| BRAZILIAN VISA |
• A valid U.S. passport for a minimum of six months from the date of intended arrival in Brazil;
• One blank page available for the Brazilian visa stamp is requested (the last pages, reserved by the US government for amendments, cannot be used for visa issuance); A completely filled out and signed visa application form in the original (faxes are not accepted). Make sure your signature on the form is the same as the one on your passport;
• The form can be downloaded from the webpage (www.consulatebrazil.org) or be picked up personally at any Brazilian Consulate.
• A recent 2” X 2” color passport-style photograph, front view, against white background to be attached to the application form. Other types of photographs will NOT be accepted;
• A copy of your round trip ticket to Brazil or a printout of the flight itinerary.
